Anna Adams asked me to create her American Girl series covers using elements, typography, and styling from her French Girl series covers to provide thematic continuity, with the Statue of Liberty in the background as a symbol of the main character’s American background and elements of each book in the foreground. Adams asked for the Eiffel Tower as a message in a bottle for this one.
